Johnny Beasley Obituary

Johnny A. Beasley

Sumrall, MS

Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at First Baptist Church of Sumrall for Mr. Johnny A. Beasley, 82, of Sumrall.

He died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at his residence.

Interment services will be in First Baptist Church of Sumrall Cemetery with military rites performed by the VFW Post 3036 Honor Guard.

Mr. Beasley was a former security employee of Dillard's Department Store, USM, and Lamar County Sheriff Department. He also retired from Amerada Hess Refinery. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sumrall and a US Army Korean Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, C.O. and Maggie Beasley; three brothers, Oben, Ethridge, and Orville Beasley.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Hayes Beasley of Sumrall; one step-son, Larry Simmons (Anita) of Sumrall; one step-daughter, Sheila Blanton (Scott) of Mitchell, IN; one brother, Alvin Beasley of Sumrall; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Sumrall, 169 Center Ave., Sumrall, MS 39482.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday at First Baptist Church of Sumrall.
