Catherine K. Barrowman
June 28, 1927 - January 28, 2022
Catherine K. Barrowman died in her sleep on January 28th, 2022. She was 94.
Catherine was born in Yonkers, New York on June 28th, 1927 to parents William C. and Flora (Kerr) Millar. Growing up in Yonkers, she attended Gorton High School. She was a member of Dayspring Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Deacon and a Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of both the Order of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of Scotia (Helen MacGregor Lodge in Yonkers).
On Feb. 9th, 1952, Catherine married Robert H. ("Roy") Barrowman and together raised their two sons, William and James. A devoted wife and dedicated mother, she traveled the world while on vacations with her family and spent time in each of the 50 states.
In 1985, when husband Robert retired from the New York Telephone Company, they moved to Safety Harbor, Florida, where they were residents at Amber Glades for 23 years with their oldest son William. In 2008, the family moved to Helena, Montana, to reunite with their youngest son James. Robert passed away in 2017. Catherine is survived by her two sons, William and James, and her sister Isabel (Millar) MacFarlane, who resides in New Port Richey, Florida.
The family is forever grateful for all those who took time from their busy lives to share coffee, bake treats, and make her feel welcomed in Helena. In lieu flowers or donations, she asks everyone to celebrate family and life with those near them.

We are so sad that your mother passed away, she was truly an amazing person and a delight to visit with. We enjoyed both her and Roy as awesome neighbors!
