Bruce Beehler Obituary
Mr. Beehler died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Presbyterian Main in Charlotte. He was the son of the late William Beehler and Esther Norton Beehler. He has lived in Charlotte since his retirement in 1989.
Mr. Beehler was employed by the American International Group and held several executive positions including Managing Director of Commercial Risk Specialists (Australia) Limited. At the time of his retirement he was employed by an AIG affiliate Starr Technical Risks Agency, Inc. that provided insurance for gas, oil and petro-chemical clients worldwide.
Mr. Beehler was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having been in eight major battles in the Pacific Theater and was in Tokyo Bay, Japan at the time of the signing of the surrender agreement.
Mr. Beehler is survived by his wife of 60+ years, Gloria Maria Deloras Rocray Beehler, their son, Bruce A. Beehler and his wife Sheila of The Villages, Florida.
Visitation for Mr. Beehler will be on Friday, June 1 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home - Weddington Chapel with a graveside service following at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn East Cemetery in Matthews.
