Heather Ager

Heather McVay Ager, 67 of Klamath Falls, Ore., passed away peacefully in her home on May 30, 2018.
Heather was born on April 28, 1951, in Norwich, England. She graduated in 1968 from Redefield School in Oxford, England, and did some modeling over the years. In 1970, she married Ronald Bert Hughes of the United States Air Force. They had two daughters and moved to the U.S., where they enjoyed traveling and she worked in sales and clerical fields. She later married Phillip Ager of the United States Air Force and then remained single.
Heather enjoyed serving her community through missions, but her primary love was being a loving Mum and Nana. Heather's family described her as loving, funny, encouraging, polite, strong willed, determined, respectful and classy. She will be remembered of her love for her daughters "girls," her family and friends, her strong British roots, love for her country, beautiful accent, cooking, gardening, outdoors (rain or shine), classic cars, birds, animals (her cat Sweet Pea) her laughter and smile.
Heather is survived by her loving daughters, Miranda Hughes Howell (Jason) and Wanda Hughes Powrzanas, both of Alabama; brothers and sisters, Julia, Sally, Kathryn, Lawrence and Diane of the United Kingdom and John of Kansas City; step-dad, Keith of the United Kingdom; five loving grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, George Alexander and Alieen Doris (Cutting) McVay, and an older sister, Diana McVay.
