Hillary Ferguson Obituary
Les was born Sept. 5, 1915, in Sheridan, Utah, but was raised in Pine Bluff, Ark. His parents were Pearl Puckett and John Ferguson. He served as a sergeant in the Army during World War II and moved to Klamath Falls, Ore., in 1946. He worked as a tree topper, carrying 100 pounds up and down trees every day; his father would then cut the tree down. He was the father of seven children.
He is survived by children, Laverne Frye of Arkansas; Treta Pearl Crabtree of Jonesboro, Ark.; Barbara Ann Carter of Pine Bluff, Ark.; Thomas Allen Ferguson of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and two step-children, Jim Warren and Carol Warren both of Klamath Falls, Ore., and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Lela Mae Redmond; second wife, Della Brown; and children, Lester Raymond Ferguson and Deno Ferguson.
