July 6, 1942 - January 11, 2021
Joe E. Romans Sr., age 78, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on July 6, 1942, in Radford, Va., a son of the late Muncy and Dorothy Nipper Romans.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Joe retired from Reynolds Aluminum (Ball). He was a member of the American Legion where he served as commander and also a member of the VFW. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Butch Romans and James Romans.
Survivors include his children, Pam Romans, Joe Romans Jr. and wife, Erika, Brian Romans and wife, Tracy, Roger Romans and Trinity, and Tabitha Romans; special stepdaughter, Cheri Shaine; grandchildren, Amanda Doss and husband, David, Britney, Kaley and Brayden Romans, Chandler and Ella Romans, Carter and Keaton Romans; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn and Teagan Doss; sister, Sandy Watson and husband, Rick, Debbie Blevins and husband, Johnny; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no services held at this time. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
