Ricky Bell Obituary
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war, and was a bus driver for the City of Dallas and was also a truck driver for many years. He was a member of Victory Life Church in Durant, Okla., and had lived in Cartwright for most of his life.
He loved to travel and ride motorcyles and was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by children, Matthew Wilson, and Rachael Stanley; a granddaughter Helen of Dallas; mother, Minnie Marsh Hubbell of Garland; brothers, Loyce Gayland Scott of Riley, and Louis Wayland Scott of Mesquite; sisters, Sandra Bell Pitts of Cartwright, Okla., and Mary Buchanan of Rowlett; special Nephew Larry Smith of Calera, Okla., and numerous other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Ricky Bell will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2009 in the Cunningham Funeral Chapel in Colbert with Minister Jim Branch officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Carl Cunningham and Cunningham Funeral Home at 120 Burney in Colbert, Okla.
