Dorothy Basteyns Obituary

Feb. 14, 1938 - Jan. 12, 2019 Dorothy Basteyns passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019 in Edmonds, WA. She was born in St. Paul, MN to Adelbert and Agnes Rose on February 14, 1938. Dorothy is survived by her children: Sharon Day, Dorcy Seethoff (John) and David Basteyns (Darla); as well as her seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Wally, in 2006. A 64-year resident of Mountlake Terrace, WA she was a hardworking business woman and a lovely mother, aunt (Tia) and grandmother. Her presence is missed already. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Red Cross would be appreciated. A celebration and potluck will be held January 26, 2019 at the Edmonds Senior Center from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.
