Francis Godding Obituary
Francis Marion Godding, 82 of Everett, WA passed away peacefully on December 17, 2022. He was born August 24, 1940 in Port Angeles, WA.
Fran was an educator for many years in the Edmonds School District. He was a Teacher, Vice Principal and School Counselor throughout his career. He impacted many young lives in his years of education.
Fran had many interests. Golfing, tennis, soccer - all of which he played through his 60's. He enjoyed coaching basketball and soccer, traveling, reading, sudoko, playing games, eating ice cream and spending time with his family and friends.
Fran was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Miriam, daughters Lori (Bob) and Janelle (Shane), granddaughters Emily and Sarah (Isaac) and one great granddaughter.
Fran is deeply missed by all that knew him. His love and devotion to his family and friends, his kind and non-judgmental heart, comforting presence, listening ear that always led to good advice and infectious laugh will forever be remembered.

I LOVED MR. GODDING WHILE I ATTENDED ALDERWOOD JR. HIGH. HE WAS ALWAYS PLEASANT AND COURTEOUS TO THOSE AROUND HIM. HE WILL BE MISSED. I ATTENED AJH 1974-1977.
