Thomas M. Donnelly

Thomas M. Donnelly, 75, of Fairhaven, died peacefully on Thursday, March 18, 2021. He was the loving husband of Carol A. Silvia. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Edward Donnelly and the late Helen (Droney) Donnelly. He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy in Providence, Rhode Island and received his bachelor of arts degree from Providence College. After incredible success during his years in retail management, he became CEO of Norwich Togs, and made it a Fortune 500 Company. Besides his wife, he leaves his son Thomas Jr.; two daughters, Juliette Trask, (husband Jonathan) and Kristen Donnelly-Napurano (fiance Darien). He also leaves 10 grandchildren, James, a/k/a Seamus, Madison, Grace, Mackenzie, Mason, Taylor, Oceanus, Oliver, Thomas III, and Alyanna; 2 great-grandchildren, Taneyah and Maverick. He also leaves 7 siblings; Sr. Ellen, Sally, Jimmy, Paul, Mary Pat, Bobby, and Kevin, along with his sisters-in-law, Patty and Karen, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Edward Jr. and his wife Pam, and his niece, Tricia. Tom was a proud Irish Catholic, a devoted history buff, and a lifelong PC Friar Basketball fan. He enjoyed reading, playing golf, basketball, and baseball, and always enjoyed taking his grandchildren to the movies. The only thing Tom loved more than baked goods were his family and friends, who came first in his life. Tom's kind and giving nature was evident in all that he did. A funeral Mass for relatives and friends will be celebrated on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River, MA at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
