Fort Mill, South Carolina - Janet M. Tracey, formerly of Fort Mill, SC., passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Omaha, NE, on October 9, 2024. She was born to Curtis and Virgina Mann on October 3, 1945, in Danville, VA. Now she lives in heaven.

She was an incredibly selfless woman who served God faithfully, loved her family and friends fiercely, and was always looking for ways to help others. Known for the twinkle in her eye, she was always up for an adventure.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sheldon Tracey, Jr. Surviving are her two sons, Jeremy Charles Tracey (Jill), of Omaha, NE, and Timothy John Tracey (Tricia), of Naples, FL; her siblings, JoAnn Meece, Barbara Williams, and Richard Mann; and three grandchildren, Alyssa, Nathan, and Noah Tracey.

In lieu of flowers, you're invited to make a donation to her longtime church family at St. John's United Methodist Church located at 130 Tom Hall Street, Fort Mill S.C. 29715.

Celebration of Life: 2 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2024, at St. John's United Methodist Church, 130 Tom Hall Street. Fort Mill, SC.

Bob and I were friends from the IBT's. We're so sorry to hear of Janet's passing. She loved her family and her God. She will be missed until we meet again.
