Marion "Pat" K. Barton LANCASTER - Mr. Marion "Pat" K. Barton, 66, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 5, 1946, in Lancaster County, the son of the late Paul Troy Barton and Ethel Jeanette Jordan Barton and was the husband of Julia "Becky" Moseley Barton. Mr. Barton retired from Mundy Company, was a Mason with Jackson Masonic Lodge and a Shriner with the Hejaz Temple. Pat loved his church, Zion United Methodist, listening to oldies music and building bird houses for his bluebirds. Mr. Barton is survived by his wife of 41 years, Julia "Becky" M. Barton of the home; two daughters, Laura Barton Parker and her husband, George of Lancaster and Lisa Barton Brooks and her husband, Jeff of Kershaw; a brother, Donnie Barton of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Chase Parker, Breeanna Brooks and Austin Brooks; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Barton was preceded in death by two brothers, Drennon Barton and Mike Barton; and a nephew, Russell Barton. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Barton will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Zion United Methodist Church, officiated by the Revs. Jim Elder and Wesley Campbell. Burial with Masonic and Military Rites will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The family of Mr. Barton will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at Hartley Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 W.
