Carlton 'Pete' Stepp CHESTER - Mr. Carlton Murray "Pete" Stepp, 68, died September 8, 2014, at his home. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Armenia United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eric Shepard officiating. The interment will at Philippi Baptist Church Cemetery in Union, S.C. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Armenia United Methodist Church. Pete was born February 18, 1946, in Union County, S.C. He was a son of the late John Stepp and Bertha Ammons Stepp. He attended the schools of Union County and was owner and operator of Stepp's Garage and Towing. He was a member of Armenia United Methodist Church and the Corvette Club. He is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Sara Ann Tracey Stepp; three daughters, Tammy Elliott (Richard) of Easley, S.C. and Susan Stepp and Tiffany Boyd, both of Chester, S.C.; one son, Joseph Stepp (Melissa) of Chester; seven grandchildren, Stefanie Blanton, Paul Teague, Kyra Stepp, Paul Larussa, Chris Elliott, Candice Elliott and Josh Elliott; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Glenn "J.G." Gibson of Union, S.C. and Russell Gibson of Lockhart, S.C. and one sister, Betty Blackwood of Spartanburg, S.C.
