James E. Brow, 83, of Baroda passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Rose Arbor Hospice, Kalamazoo, Mich.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, at Swem Chapel, 301 W. Front St., Buchanan. Burial will follow in Hinman Cemetery, Baroda. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, also at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.

Jim was born on April 12, 1939, to Claude and Winnie (Boyd) Brow in Detroit.
He graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1958.
On March 25, 1972, he married Sally A. Phillipi.
Professionally, Jim worked at Heath Co. as a senior manager in the publications department for 33 years, then served as the Baroda Township supervisor from 2000-20. He was very involved in the community, also serving as a volunteer fireman at St. Joseph Township and Baroda Township fire departments for more than 30 years, the Baroda Township Planning Commission, Baroda/Lake Township Police Board, South County Senior Citizen Center, Berrien County Chief Elected Officials Council, Berrien County Drain Commission Board of Determination and the Michigan Township Association of Supervisors to name a few. Jim was also a life-long member and former president of Grace Lutheran Church, also being involved in the finance committee and the ushering staff.
Jim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sally Brow; children: David Brow, Anne (Candy) Brow and Jackie (Andy) Schrubba; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews he adored; sister, Juanita Fenderbosch; and beloved companions, Shadow and Cooper.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Claude and Winnie Brow; and brother-in-law, Tim Fenderbosch.

I remember Jim from working at Heath Co; Sally also. Jim will be missed by many. He was well respected and obviously well loved. RIP Jim.
