Beatrice Cox Obituary

Beatrice "Bea" Cox, 70, Palmetto, died Dec. 26, 2002. She was born Jan. 29, 1932, in Marion County, Ala., and came to Manatee County in 1972 from Caruthersville, Mo. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist. Survivors include daughters Kathy of Ocala, Cindy Pillsbury of Palmetto and Connie Zimmermann of Bradenton; sons Gary of Myakka City, Troy of Parrish and Larry of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a sister, Wilma Conner of Virginia; brothers William J. West of Oklahoma and Wayne R. West of Arkansas; and 13 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Mansion Chapel. The service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mansion Memorial Park, Ellenton.
