Kathy was taken from us suddenly from undiagnosed lung cancer with her family beside her. She was born in Sarasota Memorial, graduated from SHS and was a lifetime resident. She married Thomas Higgins Sr. (deceased), they created Higgins Custom Auto Body and had 2 sons; Thomas Higgins Jr. and Rodney Higgins (Theresa). Her love of horses took her to JJJ Ranch where she worked, met and married Pancho Garcia. They created PKG Stables and raised another son Raul Garcia (Isabelle). She had many friends, pets and a loving family that will miss her. She is survived by her husband and sons as well as her mother Doris Oatley (father Arthur Oatley Sr. deceased 7 weeks prior); siblings Mary Eurice (Louis), Steven Oatley, Debra Elliott (Jeffrey); 3 grand children and 1 great grand daughter. Memorial will be held Sep. 11 at 11am at their ranch 2409 Cow Pen Ln. Sarasota Fl.
