Lane L. Marshall

Lane L. Marshall, 65, Wamego, Kan., and formerly of Sarasota, died June 10, 2003. He was born Sept. 19, 1937, in Syracuse, N.Y., and came to Wamego in 1989 from Sarasota where he was the founder and director of Lane L. Marshall and Associates. He retired as dean and a professor at Kansas State University College of Architecture Planning and Design. He was president of the American Society of Landscape Architecture from 1978 to 1980. Survivors include his wife, Susan Scott; daughters Merelee Boulris of Sarasota, Shelley Cobb of Tampa and Lilly of Wamego; and a grandson. Services were in Manhattan, Kan., where Yorgeosen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to Kansas State University Foundation for the Lane L.
