King, Mary M.

Mary M. King, 83, of Sarasota, formerly of Lexington, Ky., and Park Ridge, Ill., died Sept. 1, 2010.
Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Robert E. King; two daughters, Dr. Kathryn King of Montevallo, Ala., and Debra Mustard of Milford, Ohio; and a son, Scott King of San Francisco.
A native Cincinnatian, Mary graduated from Withrow High School and Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Mary was a charter member of Crestwood Christian Church in Lexington, and more recently a member of Beneva Christian Church in Sarasota. She was an ardent golfer at TPC Prestancia and enjoyed playing bridge. At the time of death, the Kings lived in an independent living villa at The Fountains at Lake Pointe Woods in Sarasota.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, at Beneva Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to TideWell Hospice. Arrangements are being handled by National Cremation & Burial Society, Sarasota.
