Patsy Hall Reid of Granite Falls passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at her residence.
Born July 28, 1940, in Caldwell County, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Gamewell Hall, and Lillian Mildred Collins Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by James "Bus" Ray Reid and her daughter, Rella Ann Reid; brother Jerry Hall and sister Peggy Lee.
Patsy was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Reba Reid of the home; son, Logan Reid and wife Charlene of Granite Falls; three grandchildren, John Shook, Harley Bearfield, Heather Saine; eight great grandchildren and one on the way; brothers, Jimmy Hall of Granite Falls, Dickie Hall and wife Debbie of Hickory; sisters, Brenda Brown and husband Rom of Hickory, Margie Butler of Huntersville.
Services will be held Sunday, December 31, 2023, 3 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church of Granite Falls, N.C. with Rev. Lonnie Bell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior at the church. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
