Helen Timmerman

1932 - 2018

The Lord took Helen J. Timmerman to Himself on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the age of 85.
She was preceded in death by her son, Philip Timmerman as well as her parents and father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Timmerman.
Helen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born in Zutphen to Dick and Gertie Vander Kolk. She was a member of Zion Chapel. She was a homemaker, an excellent helpmate as a pastor's wife, and helped her family start Fillmore Equipment.
Helen is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bernie Timmerman; Children, Pat Timmerman (Holland, MI), Dave & Wendy Timmerman (Zeeland, MI), Ken & Diana Timmerman (Holland, MI), Lori & John Schipper (Martin, MI); Grandchildren: Mitch & Sarah Timmerman, Ross & Jen Timmerman, Mark & Anna Timmerman, Nate & Sherri Wind, Ben Timmerman, Brad Timmerman, Mike Timmerman, Derek Timmerman, Scott & Michelle Timmerman, Sara Schipper; Great- Grandchildren: Zach, Levi, Jake & Caleb Timmerman, Nora & Grant Timmerman; Sister, Esther & Paul Brower; in-laws, Neal & Marilyn DeHaan.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2018 at Graafschap Christian Reformed Church, 5973 Church St. Holland with Pastor Dale Dykema officiating. Burial will be in Overisel Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, January 7, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland.
