Bonnie Daigle Obituary
Labadieville - Bonnie Babin Daigle, 75, a native of Raceland and a resident of Labadieville, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at St. Philomena Catholic Church from 8:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Burial followed at the church's cemetery.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Oscar "O.J." Daigle, Jr.; son, Marc Hebert; daughters, Melinda (Richard) Dufrene and Lisa (Michael) Yarbrough; step-sons, Jody (Kelley) Daigle and Jay (Julia) Daigle; step-daughter, Judy Rome; grandchildren, Britney (Hansen) Breaux, Blake (Karly) Nash, Justin (Kelsey) Oliver, Taylor Hebert, Austin Hebert, and Emelie Hebert; step-grandchildren, Ashley (Blaine) Ockman, Jordan Daigle, Iain Daigle, Lance Dufrene, Lacey Triche, Sarah Dufrene, Kayla Yarbrough, Blaine Yarbrough, and Brenna Yarbrough; five great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene and Gerald Babin; sisters, Marguerite Orgeron, Doris Breaux, Marion Labat, and Carmella Lusco; sister-in-law, Rae Ann Osborne; and many nieces and nephews. She was also survived by her beloved cat, Rosco.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Earline Babin; and brother, Gary Babin.
She enjoyed cooking for her family and sew. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Catherine's Hospice for their care and compassion.
