Mary Maureen - only daughter to your folks. But - wow - they have plenty of all kinds of grandchildren and Greats! How fortunate Maureen Farris Ammons and Archie were to have such special offspring. Archie was "keeper of the clock" in our Seekers Sunday School Class, so we missed him particularly as this New Year came around. BTW: Suppose they are square dancing again in Heaven!?!? I sincerely loved these two wonderful people. ...Marjorie

Dearest Archie,

Patti C. called me today to let me know of Maureen's passing, which I didn't know, and now to let me know of your's as well. I knew you wouldn't let her out of your sight for very long, but sure didn't know it would be so soon.

I loved Maureen for so many years and you as well. She was one of my dearest friends and mentors in our nursing days. I am out of state so there is no way anyone would get in touch with me if she fell ill.

I will miss you both so much! Have planned a trip to TX in Nov., but now you won't be there.

Please give love & hugs to her in heaven as I know that's where you both reside. Say Hi to my mom & dad as well.

I miss you both! Love, Rusdee

The Ammons family
Just a note to tell you what a neat Dad you had. Quiet is one term to describe him - always thinking though. He and Maureen were quite a team when it came to caring for the Seekers Class at BUMC. I miss them both so very much. I know you miss them too! I can only imagine that team now with God - with no sickness and no worries! And realizing The Hymn of Promise. Meeting many of you in recent times has given me an even better view of this special couple. They had much to be proud of with you all.
...Marjorie.
