Carol Wilhite Obituary

Carol Jenkins Wilhite, 78, passed away on April 26, 2014 after a long battle with leukemia. She was born August 23, 1935 in Beaver, OK to Everett and Olive Jenkins. Carol attended school in Beaver and graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK with a degree in Business Education.
In 1958 Carol was married to Colbert Wilhite and spent most of her married life living in many different locations while Colbert was employed by Conoco and the DuPont Company. To this union one child was born, Lisa Gayle. Carol is survived by her husband Colbert of 56 years, her daughter Lisa DeLozier and her husband Don and grandsons Drew, Drake, and Dylan DeLozier, two sisters, Elaine Jenkins and Inabelle Peters, two brothers Roland and Rex Jenkins.
Carol was a devout Christian and an active member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 2, at 11 a.m. at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, 11140 Greenbay Dr., Houston, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's memory to the Chapelwood Foundation, 11140 Greenbay Dr., Houston, TX 77024 or to the charity of one's choice.
