My heart and prayers go out to all of Darvin’s family. Although we all maybe sad, we must realize how blessed we are to have known such a special person. Darvin, eventhough you maybe gone from my sight, you are not gone from my heart, and memories of our times together I will cherish. You were like one of my big brothers (but you thought you were my daddy) and I appreciate all of the good advice that you gave to me. I will miss you!

My heart weeps for the family as the days go by and the reality starts to set in...still wanting it to be just another one of those untrue rumors. I wish I could say I understand and that your grief will be brief, but losing a loved one can never be easy. Darvin will truly be missed and will remain in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him. My prayer is that God will continue to keep you and strengthen you.

I am deeply saddened by the death of Darvin. Darvin was definitely a wonderful person. I met Darvin at an assembly in Houston when he was 14 yrs old. I will have his family in my prayers and we have the hope of seeing Darvin in the New System where we will be re-united with our fellow family members and friends. Darvin was truly a friend. He will be missed.

To the greer family.I have never personally met Jeanna's brother, but i do know the rest of the family, and Jeanna has always been like a sister to me. Your whole family was there for us when my sibling passed way, so i do know the feeling and believe me everyday gets a little easier. Although the way he passed was tragedy, one day you guys will think back of how good it was to even having the pleasure of knowing him. may god be with you all.

I can honestly say that I am shocked! When I first heard of the news I thought this can not be true. Because of my faith in God I know that everything in life has reasons. Many of them we can not explain nor should we question. So I go to him in prayer and ask that he strengthen all that has been effected by this unfortunate event Family and Friends. I ask that God put a strong hold and a blanket of love around his children and watch after them until that beautifull day when they meet their father Darvin again in Heaven. AMEN. I know that God has a special seat next to a beautiful angel with your name on it. Take your seat and know that many bells will ring to insure that your the next angel to receive your wings.

My prayers got out to the Greer family. I remeber when I first met the Greer family. They opened there home to me and my family in time of need (I thank you!) Jeanna you became a sister to me and Darvin became a brother to me. When you think of Darvin I want you to smile right now I no that it is hard,but remeber all the gootimes. Neisha I remeber you as Darvins high school sweetheart with the pretty smile. You and your children are in my prayers (Be strong!)

I think of my brother everyday, every minute, every second that goes by. I know people say that it will get better everyday, but Im waiting, because it seems as if it is getting harder. I cry every morning and everynight. I love you Neisha, Darvin(pig), Raven, and cameron. I know thatif my brother was here he would tell me to get up,shake it off, and move on. Reading all of the wonderful things that people have to say about my brother make everyday a little eaiser, so keep writing and I will keep reading.

I just heard about your loss to Darvins brothers and sisters I have been in your shoes 10 yrs ago and at that time Darvin told me "only the flesh is gone the love in the heart will always be there" that is the samething I say to you. I had the pleasure of meeting Nisha and Darvin on a couple of occasions through his sister and brother in law. I was very sad to hear what happened to Darvin. I will be praying for his family and friends during this time of sorrow.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Darvin's family. I had only been an aquaintance of his for a short period of time but in that short period he made a lasting impression on me because he was a genuine and caring person. In 1992 and in 2002 I lost my brother Jamal, and my oldest brother Marcus ten years to the day. I know your pain. I knew Darvin well. We were good freinds and used to spend a lot of time together. We even got into music together, took trips and just hung out. I know I speak for alot of his friends when I say he will be missed very much. He will always be in my heart and I will never forget the times we spent together. My heart is heavy as I write this. To Neisha and the Greer family, I would like to put comfort in your hearts by saying, "D" is at peace now. God brought him into my life for me to be a ear to listen, and whether it was the dogs or him bragging on how beautiful his children were, I listened. He confided in me and few weeks ago he told me that I was going to be jealous when I seen his name in lights. Well he was right I'm jealous and I know in my heart without a doubt he is glistening over all this attention. I can hear that whispery voice saying "P I told you " I smile at fact of knowing he always got what he wanted. I'm going to truly miss MY FRIEND.......

I am a friend of Darvin’s cousin, Ginna. I did not know Darvin personally. I was fortunate to meet him and his wife and kids occasionally at some of their family gatherings. It was like I knew him because Ginna would talk about him so much. He was more like a brother than a cousin to her. My heart and prayers goes out to the entire family.

To the people who did not know my cousin....He was a wonderful person, full of life and always a joy to be around, he was a person you would have loved to know. To my family I say this he will sleep only a short time but we should rejoice in the Lord because he has made a way for us to see him again.
