Douglas Austin Obituary

DOUGLAS GLEN (D.G.) AUSTIN, born March 26, 1943 in Chicago Illinois, died Tuesday February 21, 2006 at the age of 62. After graduating from Denison University, Doug served as a Captain in the United States Air Force. He recently retired from Shell Oil after 34 years. Doug is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jean Austin; son Jeff Austin and his wife, Courtney; daughter, Kathy Austin; mother, Pauline Austin; brother, J. Leslie Austin and sister, Sandra J. Austin. A memorial service will be held at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2006. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made in his name to the Kingwood/Forest Cove Baseball Association, P.O. Box 6535, Kingwood, TX 77325.
