Franklin Dee Burleson of Houston, TX passed away on January 2, 2023. He was 81.
Frank was born in Teague, TX on December 27, 1941, to Frances Holmes Burleson and Tee Moses Burleson. He graduated from Pasadena High School in 1960 and later joined the U.S. Air Force Reserves where he served until he was honorably discharged in 1969. He attended the University of Houston where he earned his degree in architecture. He worked as an architect designing commercial and residential properties for the remainder of his life. Frank was an adoring father and grandfather and a fiercely loyal friend. His laughter, wit, and unconditional love will be missed beyond measure by his family.
He is survived by his daughter Amy Burleson Sanjana and her husband Shahrukh Sanjana, daughter Julie Burleson Grant and her husband David Grant, daughter Emily Burleson Watters and her husband Bobby Watters, and his 6 six grandchildren (Ava and Emma Sanjana; Aidan, Elizabeth, and William Grant; and Emily Kate Watters). He is also survived by his brother John T. Burleson (Debbie), and his former wife and mother to his three children, Linda Loomis Ross. He leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews, and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Frances and Tee Burleson, and his sister Carolyn Burleson Rains.
