Guadalupe "Lupe" Garcia

MR. GUADALUPE "Lupe" GARCIA, 64, died August 4, 2006. He was preceded in death by his father, Simon S. Garcia. Mr. Garcia was a welder since the age of 18. He was the owner of Garcia Fabricating, Garcia Rental Properties, Garcia Construction, Garcia Supply Co. and Garcia Oilfield Transportation Services. Lupe is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Castro Garcia; his mother, Benilde Garcia; one son, Randy Garcia and his wife, Tracey; one daughter, Cathy Garcia; 4 brothers, George Garcia and his wife, Berta, Simon Garcia III and his wife, Frances, Lee Garcia and his wife, Liz, and Luis Garcia; 2 sisters, Annie Cruz and her husband, Louis and Rosie Padilla and her husband, Benny; 5 grandchildren, Meagan Garcia, Hailey Garcia, Jenna Garcia, Jake Garcia, and Caitlyn Garcia; 37 nieces and nephews; 40 great nieces and nephews; 1 great great nephew; 2 uncles; 3 aunts; several cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at St. Helen Catholic Church Monday, August 7, 2006, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at St. Helen Catholic Church with The Reverend Msgr. Reginald R. Nesvadba, Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
