James McGinnis Obituary
1954-2015
James Patrick McGinnis, 61, passed away on May 26, 2015. He is survived by his: parents, James and Elizabeth McGinnis; sister, Nancy McGinnis; brothers, Brian McGinnis, Kevin McGinnis, Timothy McGinnis and his wife Stephanie; nieces, Jennifer, Jill and Audrey; nephews, Nathan and Sam.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 6:00 pm through 8:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Home, Webster. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10:30 am at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 3131 El Dorado Blvd., Houston, TX 77059. Followed by an interment at Forest Park East Cemetery, Webster, TX.

I remover Pat getting hit in the eye by a berry thrown at him in the neighborhood. That was when all the Catholic kids in the neighborhood went to St. Prius parochial school. Then Queens Intermediate, Pasadena High, and finally University of a Texas with such a wonderful person. His handsome face and great sense of humor always brought a smile to my face. From Mockingbird Lane to Dubai I will always treasure knowing wonderful Pat.

I was so sorry to hear about Pat. He was such a good friend all through high school and college. I have so many memories of all the time and fun we shared. Mr. And Mrs. McGinnis, I know you, Brian, Nancy, Kevin, and Tim will miss him so much. When my niece died I had a Scripture I kept reminding myself of. "They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Isaiah 51:11. ". That's my idea of Heaven! I know that we will see them again some day. We grieve in the meantime but I know they are experiencing joy.

Dear Family of Patrick, I cannot begin to tell you how saddened my husband and I are to hear of the loss of our dear friend. He was such a sterling guy, always ready to lend a helping hand. And so creative. Truly amazing. We dearly loved him and will miss him terribly.
