Janice Brillhart Obituary

JANICE HELEN BRILLHART went to join her departed family and friends in Heaven on the 3rd of February 2007. She was born on the 24th of February 1915 in Marysville, KS to William Marshall and Helen Mae Griffee. She resided in Kansas until 1958 when she moved with her husband and sons to Kingsville, Texas. Following her husband's death in 1984, she continued to work and live independently in Houston, Texas until failing eyesight necessitated her living with her eldest son Bill and his wife Virginia until her death. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, William Robert Brillhart; brother, Robert Marshall Griffee; sister Evelyn Griffee Eberle; and grandsons Donald Deloss Brillhart and Michael Brillhart. She is survived by her sister Isla Griffee Jones (William); her two sons, William Robert Brillhart, II (Virginia) and Donald Burton Brillhart (Ruth); grandchildren Stephanie Brillhart Gonzales, William Robert Brillhart, III (Debbie), Billie Jean (Lonny) Cox, Mark Brillhart, Leon Brillhart, William Anthony Brillhart (Lisa), Burton Dean Brillhart (Amy) and Robert Martin Brillhart (Kimberly); 16 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 5th of February 2007, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Brillhart's name to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15186, Austin, Texas, 78761.
