Jo Haag Obituary

JO ANN ISABELL HAAG passed away Thursday, November 29, 2001 surrounded by her loving family. Jo Ann was born on October 10, 1932 in San Diego, California and spent the majority of her life in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mrs. Haag was preceded in death by her father, William C. Greany "Occa Bacca" and her grandmother, Gladys M. Reisinger "Nana". She is survived by her loving mother Katherine Merritt, her beloved husband of 33 years, Arthur, her brother William Greany and his wife Carol of Lincoln, California, daughter Kathleen Jarvis and her husband Bob of Houston, Texas, son John Haag and his wife Kathy of Pacific Palisades, California, son Randy Haag of San Francisco, California, daughter Mary Ann Gervason and her husband Bruce of Houston, Texas, son Kenneth and his wife Elizabeth of Houston, Texas, grandchildren, Kevin McCue, Lauren and Hayley Haag, Ashley, Christopher and Jonathan Gervason, Alexandra, Nicholas and Brooke Haag, Joshua, Zachary, Austin and Gwendolyn Jo Ann Haag, as well as her beloved "Curli". Jo Ann was an accomplished pianist and talented artist. She loved to garden and was active in a local gardening club. In 1991 she co-founded a silicone breast implant support group, the first of its kind in Texas. She will be remembered for her faith in the salvation of Jesus Christ, her vivacious personality, her love of family, strength of spirit and incredible will to live. The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Jackson for his extraordinarily compassionate and expert care of our loved one. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday, December 3, at Klein Funeral Home in Klein, Texas. The family will receive friends during that time. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 4 at the Chapel at Klein Funeral Home.
