We were truly sorry to read of John's passing. He was a friend from grad school days and a well respected colleague at Shell Development. We always enjoyed our association with John and Margaret. Please accept our sincerest condolences.

I joined Shell in 1981, so I knew JT in his emeritus status. He was the highly regarded geochemist. His views were always sought out by Shell's executives regarding our biggest projects.
