Alan and I are deeply saddened by the news. Johnny has been a good friend to both of us over the years--a great boss and an even better human being. He truly will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Johnny. My thoughts and prayers are with with Cyndi and the entire family. I knew and worked with Johnny for over 30 years on the HR budget and on the process improvement team. I always respected Johnny for his work ethic and integrity, and his sense of humor. He treated everyone fairly and always told it like it was. He will be missed.

Johnny and Ronnie's fishing trip
December 13, 2015
Johnny was a member of my family for over 50 years. I can't begin to tell you about all of his great qualities as a person. I can tell you that in all those years, I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone and I mean anyone! Johnny was a faithful friend. He was very outgoing and generous and contributed to various organizations without expecting anything in return. He loved life and enjoyed the outdoors spending time with family and friends hunting, fishing, scuba diving and playing sports. Johnny was the kind of man that you enjoyed being around. He had a great sense of humor when it came time to goof around. Linda and I loved this man and will surely miss him. Our prayers are with his wife Cyndi who faithfully stood by him with his courageous fight with prostate cancer. In the end, the cancer did not win, Johnny won. He passed from this earth with dignity and honor just like the way he lead his life.

There is a void in my heart now that can never be filled. You were not just my son-in-law, you were the brother I never had. The things we liked to do together will never be enjoyed as much without you. Thank you for the love you showed towards me and the wonderful memories. I know you are in a much better place now and would not come back to this old world for anything. I love and miss you Johnny. Pawpaw

I graduated with Johnny and he was a good person then and it seems as he just kept getting better in life. It sounds as he had a good life and was very happy and even though he is not with us here-
he will always be with us till we get to heaven to see him again. All my prayers to the family.
