Lenora Brown Obituary
1930-2017
Lenora Schmidt Brown, age 86, was led into eternal life by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in Houston, Texas. She was born to Albert and Helen Nightengale Schmidt on December 4, 1930 in Fairview, Oklahoma. Lenora was a member of Central Baptist Church and had a passion for needlework and crossword puzzles. Lenora is reunited with her husband of 53 years, Boyd L. Brown; parents and brother, Herbert Schmidt. She is survived by her son, Linwood Brown; daughter, Peggy Bird and husband Bryan; sister, Betty Tuffly; grandson, Clifton Bird and wife Chloe and nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Lenora's life will be celebrated on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at Noon in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. Lenora will be laid to rest beside her beloved Boyd in Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
