The last time that I saw Linda was at and after our 1969 class reunion 7 years ago. She and Scarlet Spivey came by the house to see Lynnda, my wife, and me. Same ole Linda, just full of bull as I remembered her from school. What a sweety! She will be missed. May she rest in eternal peace!

Linda & I shared a love of photography during the time of our friendship in the mid 70's. We once took a trip to Waxahachie, near Ovilla, taking a ton of night photos of the historic Ellis Co. courthouse & every gingerbread house we declared suitable for our "trained" eyes. I have fond memories of the fun things we did, she was a delightful & loyal friend. I know she will be missed by those who knew her well.

Linda was always concerned about others. She worried frequently about being a burden when she spoke of things that were bothersome to her. We met at Angleton Junior High where we were both in the band. We liked to ride our bikes and go to the high school where we "tried" to play tennis. We were both terrible and would end up just laughing. We also enjoyed meeting at the Angleton bowling lanes. When I moved to Austin, after my sophomore year in high school, she and her mom and step-dad visited us. We enjoyed taking them to Lake Austin where we tried to teach her how to water-ski. That same trip I talked Linda into getting on the back of my brother's Honda 65 (motor) and we rode on IH35 and toured the "drag". We were still in high school and thought that was great fun. We stayed in touch off and on over the last two decades. I was so glad she was feeling well enough to attend the Angleton High School reunion several years ago. I will always remember Linda's contagious laugh and her smile.

Linda and I grew up together in Angleton and shared many great times. She was a very nice person and good friend.
