Lloyd gave me my patriarchal blessing in 2001. I´ll never forget the experience. One of, if not the most, spiritual day of my life. I still turn to my patriarchal blessing for help and comfort.

I didn´t know Patriarch Womack well, but from our brief visit, his humility, gentleness and greatness have left an impression on me ever since. I also remember the light in his home and hummingbirds outside his window.

I wish the best to Lloyd´s surviving family members and hope to meet & thank Lloyd again someday.

Dear Opal; Please accept our most sincere condolences as to Lloyd's passing. He will forever be remembered as our Bishop for a time at the old Melbourne Ward, and for his standing with me and confirming both of my sons (Jeff and Brad) just after I'd baptized them both in the Melbourne font. And also for the wonderful, kind, and thoughtful man that he was. We also send you our love and best wishes always,

God bless the family. If I'm not mistaken, he had an installation or repair crew and I used to dispatch that crew from the central office at 1200 Clay.

I first worked with Lloyd in the late 60's in the Northeast District & later when he headed up QWL.
