MINERVA CASILLAS Obituary

MINERVA QUINONES CASILLAS, born in Houston, February 15, 1934, passed away on February 3, 2010, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Houston to Sarah Quinones Casillas and Jose Munoz Casillas.Minerva worked for the City of Houston in the Municipal Courts section for many years.She is survived by her sister Alice Casillas Wheeler and her husband Joseph Wheeler, of Houston, her brother Daniel Quinones Casillas of Bastrop, TX, nephews Mark Wheeler his wife Sue and their family of Fredericksburg, TX, Matthew Wheeler of Bastrop, Tx, Michael Wheeler and his wife Kim of Bastrop, TX, Murray Wheeler of Houston, and Mason Wheeler and his wife Julie and their family of Houston, and grand nieces and nephews Kelly Wheeler Fruge and husband Bryan, Amy Wheeler, Travis Wheeler, Kevin Wheeler, Joey Wheeler, Jenna Wheeler and Jakub Wheeler. Numerous friends including Rodney Dietz, Buster Schilling, James Scott, Nevelyn Richter and Janis Foster.A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday 2/20/10 at Vineyard Christian Church, 1035 E. 11 St. Houston, TX 77009.
