OTTO HOESEL Obituary

OTTO ROBERT HOESEL, 71, beloved husband and father has passed away on Tuesday, March 16th at 16:25hrs. at his home in Spring, TX where he resided for almost thirty years, surrounded by friends and family.Robert was born in Austria on March 28th, 1938 and was raised in Germany, England and Argentina, where he met the love of his life, his wife Ema. He also had a love for rowing and participated in several Regattas in South America and abroad. Robert graduated from the College of Engineering in Buenos Aires, Argentina and was later on hired by Siemens (formerly Mannesmann Demag/Delaval) where he worked delicately as a Sales Manager for Industrial Air Compressors in the Oil Industry for over fifty Years prior to his recent retirement in 2009. He fought a long and courageous battle against cancer and will always be remembered by those who were close to him as a loving and caring husband, father and friend.Robert is survived by his wife, Ema Heinke Hoesel, his children Michael, Christian, Alex and his six grandchildren.Funeral Services will be held at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, Texas 77379 on March 26, 2010 at 2PM. Flowers and Donations for the St. Jude Children Research Hospital will be accepted at this time.

Mrs. Hoesel and Family,
I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Robert was a very special person and a favorite patient of mine here at MDACC over many years. May God Bless you and keep you in His arms.

Conocia a Robert telefonicamente cuando trabajaba para Demag Delaval en Florida en los años 1996. Luego me mude a Houston Texas y comence a trabajar en Siemens donde tuve la oportunidad de conocerlo personalmente. Robert fue siempre una persona de caracter muy fuerte pero conmigo siempre tuve palabras de mucho cariño pues hablabamos el idioma español. Siempre lo recordare. Que Dios lo tenga en su gloria.
