Reynaldo Gueco Cifra

REYNALDO GUECO CIFRA, 59, departed this life on Sunday, August 10, 2003, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 21, 1943. Reynaldo was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Pilar Narvaez Cifra; their children, Pamela, Patricia, Priscilla and Cedric; his mother, Adelina Gueco Cifra; his sisters, Emelinda C. Manaloto, Adelisa C. Ramos and husband, Ambrosio Ramos; his brother, Leoncio Cifra, Jr. and wife, Aurora, Demetrio Cifra and wife, Edith, and Manuel Cifra and wife, Annie; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dr. Antonio and Mercedes Narvaez, Rogelio and Dercy Narvaez, Emma and Bob Aquino, and Ellen and Toots Febre; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family invites friends to a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2003, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft. A memorial service will be held at the church at 12 noon on Saturday, August 16, 2003. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Reynaldo's name be made to the MD Anderson Cancer Center Palliative Care Department, 1515 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030.
