Richard Griffiths Obituary
Dick proudly served our country in the US Navy. He was retired from United Parcel Service and had a second career of 21 years at Sam's Wholesale Club.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Seeber Griffiths, son Jeffrey Griffiths, daughters Beth Richard and husband Brian, Kelley Alberigo and husband Richard. Grandchildren, Carter Newitt, Katie Griffiths, Cassondra Richard and Camryn Alberigo. Sisters, Eleanor Cmaylo of Sherrill, NY, Hilda Duchene and husband Ralph of Oneida, NY. A very special cousin, Vera Griffiths of Wales, UK, cousins Derrick Walters of Houston, TX and Brian Carter of Scotland, UK. Nephews and nieces, Mark Cmaylo and wife Kathy of Kennebunkport, ME, Jill Atwood and husband Kenny of Verona, NY, Scott Duchene and wife Linda of NH, Evan Duchene and wife Kathy of Sherrill, NY and Randy Duchene and wife Donna of Syracuse, NY.
He was preceded in death by his father John (Jack) Griffiths, mother Josephine Burns Griffiths, brother in law Walter (Pete) Cmaylo and nephew John Cmaylo.

Dick was a wonderful person. I am so sorry that we only found out about his passing by reading this Sunday's church bulletin at St. John Vianney. Both Frances and I first knew Dick from our shopping at Sam's Club. I then met him frequently at Mass on Saturday evenings and sometimes in the Brother's Pizza store. He was always positive and friendly; everyone thought highly of him. May God bless him and our sincere prayers for his wife and family'

I'm sorry for your loss. Such a motivated man with a long career. In conversing with Dick at Camryn's last birthday party I gained insight to the funny, loving, unassuming man he was to his children and grandchildren. Keep your memories of him close to your heart, he'll be missed.
