1942-2015
MRS. VICTORIA "VICKI" PITRIE BOWIE, 73, passed away on December 20, 2015. Her children, James, II and Kimberly were by her side. Vicki was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Bowie, who was her college sweetheart. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 7 – 8:30pm. The viewing will be held from 9 – 9:45am on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Funeral services will follow at 10am. All services will take place at True Light Missionary Baptist Church ~ 7102 N. Main St. Pastor Anthony F. Halley, II, Officiating. Rev. John Bowie, Sr., Pastor Emeritus, Eulogist. Interment: Houston National Cemetery-Gate Time at 2:00pm.

Your mom was truly a trailblazer with a caring spirit. Our common bond was our BS degrees in nutrition from the great Southern University. I also had the opportunity to work with her. God Bless you.
