Duane Arthur Tank

Duane Arthur Tank, has passed away on November at the age of 94 years of age! He was given the gift of life in May of 1926. He was born in Iowa and then, as a young boy, his parents brought their family of four boys to California during the Depression in the early 1930's. Duane was the oldest of his siblings and is survived by his younger brother Norman Tank who lives in Turlock California.
Duane was married for 70 years to Margie Helen Tank, she passed in January of 2018 at 90years of age. Duane and Margie married in 1947 and had five children. Darrel Tank, Steve Tank, Candi Katsma, Penny Brown, and David Tank.
Duane also started working at the Pacific Press Publishing Association in 1947, while it was based in Mountain View CA. He worked for the Press for 42 years, 40 of those years he spent as the head photographer until retiring in 1988. In 1984, the Pacific Press Publishing Association officially moved from CA to ID, and brought Duane, with them as their Photographer. When he retired from the Pacific Press Publishing Association, he started working for the Dealers Auto Auction in Boise and Nampa for a number of years.
Duane and Margie were active members of the Nampa Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
He loved growing Fruit trees, his garden, and playing golf and so much more. Duane was also a cancer survivor in the early 1960's.
He was loved and appreciated by many and he looked forward to the Lord's 2nd Coming, when he will be resurrected, see His Lord and Savior, be reunited with his family and friends, and then forever be with the Lord. He is survived by his five children, 21 Grandchildren and many Great-grandchildren. "A memorial service will be announced at a later date."
