Roberto (Bobby) Villanueva
Roberto Villanueva (Bobby), 41, of Nampa, Idaho went to be with the Lord Monday, April 24, 2017 after a long struggle with cancer. A memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa. (208-467-7300). Condolences may be expressed at zeyerfuneralchapel.com.
Bobby was born in Phoenix, AZ February 15, 1976 to Alfonso Sr. and Dolores Villanueva. He was the youngest of 5 brothers. He graduated from Sherman Indian High School (Riverside, CA) on the 16th of May in 1996.
After high school he enlisted in the Navy, served for two years and worked in fiber optics and later as an electrician. He enjoyed traveling and working. He was very proud of the fact that he traveled and worked in all 50 states, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
Bobby was a true craftsman. He built his mother a custom home from start to finish. Before he passed he started remodeling his own home. Bobby could make anyone laugh, especially his daughter Jewel and his nieces and nephews. He was loved by all and will be very missed.
Roberto is survived by his daughter Jewel; his mother Dolores Villanueva; brothers: Lorenzo (JoEllen) Lodie, Alfonso Jr. (Maria) and Andy (Carlita). He was preceded in death by his father Alfonso Sr. and his brother Larry.
Our faith is in the love we once shared and knowing the journey that we all must take, is ended in the plan, that will once again lead us back to our Heavenly Father, arriving in a healthy new body.
