Zoe Middleton Obituary

Nampa - Zoe Etta (Fullerton) Middleton graduated to heaven on Sunday morning, September 25, 2022. She was born in Collbran, Colorado on October 9, 1936 to Edgar and Vera Fullerton. Zoe attended Mesa Schools in Colorado before moving to Nampa, Idaho in 1951. Zoe never lost her love for Colorado, friends and family. Zoe graduated from Nampa High School and married Donald A. Middleton on May 15, 1954. Zoe and Don raised their family of eight children in Nampa. Their love of Jersey cattle brought them together and led them in a wealth of friendships and memorable World travel. They both were life-time members of the American Jersey Cattle Club. Zoe was employed for 18 years at the Meridian U.S. Postal Service as a rural letter carrier; she retired in 1996. Zoe was an active member of Greenhurst Bible Church, Bible Study Fellowship, and the Treasure Valley Dairy Wives. She was a Canyon County Master Gardener who enjoyed sharing her abundance of produce and flowers. Zoe was Grand Marshall of the Meridian Dairy Parade in June 1998. She loved working with children in AWANA, BSF, and various children's ministries. Zoe regularly volunteered at Lifeline Pregnancy Care Center and Shiloh Bible Camp.

Zoe was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a grandson. Zoe is survived by her brother Herb (Rosemary) Fullerton, and her sister-in-law Jeri (Leonel) Anderson. Zoe is also survived by Susan (Joe) Schuler, Chuck Middleton, Sandy Newton, Dave (Connie) Middleton, Bob (Renata) Middleton, Sharon (Curtis) Spivey, Eddy (Gloria) Middleton, and Sarah (Mike) LaFee. Zoe is loved and will be greatly missed by her 42 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Zoe's name to Greenhurst Bible Church, Gideons International, or Shiloh Bible Camp.

A viewing for Zoe will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday October 3, 2022 at Greenhurst Bible Church (5423 E. Greenhurst Rd., Nampa, Idaho). The funeral service to start at 10:30 AM. A graveside service will follow at Cloverdale Memorial Park in Boise (1200 Cloverdale Rd., Boise, Idaho) at 1:00 PM.

The Fullertons were family friends of ours both in Mesa, Colorado and in Nampa, Idaho. Both families moved from Colorado at about the same time.

My heart is warmed just knowing she's with Jesus. She opened her home to my brothers widow in 2008; she had no place to go for a week.
Zoe truly walked with Him and loved others. She was warm and caring.

I´m so sorry to hear the passing of Zoe. Her absence will definitely leave a void in so many ministries. Zoe´s Garden at Lifeline holds a special place for me knowing how much she loved the babies and their mothers and wanted to create a special place for them at the center, makes me smile. She had a heart of gold and always willing to help in whatever capacity needed. Even though I haven´t seen her for awhile she´ll always hold a special place in my heart. We know she is rejoicing with loved ones in heaven and we wouldn´t want it any other way but we will miss her. To all her family: please accept my deepest sympathy.
