Johnny "John" Shane Tillotson, age 49, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013, due to heart failure. He was born on June 12, 1963 in Pocatello, Idaho to Ruth Elaine (Jones) Tillotson and Commodore William Tillotson. John was raised in the Pocatello and Fort Hall areas until the age of 14. He and his parents then moved to May, Idaho and lived there until the time of his father's passing in the spring of 1979. John, his mother, Elaine and his brother Kirk then relocated to the Blackfoot area.
After several years, John met Mikki Dunn, they fell in love and were married in August of 1985. John and Mikki had three children, Whitney Tillotson, Kayla (Ryan) Scott, and Kyle Tillotson. John and Mikki were later divorced.
In January of 2011, John moved to the Idaho Falls area an resided there until the time of his passing. John was preceded in death by his father, Commodore Tillotson. He is survived by his mother, Elaine Jones Tillotson, of Pocatello; his three children, aforementioned; and his six grandchildren, Tiara, Dre, Brooklynn, McKenzie, Kyah and Madilynn. He is also survived by his siblings, Brent Tillotson, Nancy Lowe, Kirk (Jill) Tillotson, Kim Tillotson, and Terry Tillotson,
John loved fishing, camping, hunting, going for drives and walks in the mountain country, car shows, playing video games with his son and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He had an amazing smile, warm heart, and will be missed by many. We are comforted knowing he is now watching over us with his father by his side.
