Julie Barnes
53, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Friday, February 7, 2014.
Along with Julie's love of her children and grandchildren and the rest of her family, she loved gardening; including filling her yard with lilly flowers and many others. Julie was a graduate of Indiana University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She will be very missed by her friends and family. Julie is survived by her children, Andrew Barnes, Sarah Barnes, and Shawn Taylor; grandchildren, Gavin Taylor, and Alyssa Taylor; brothers, Eddie Jones, Louie Jones, Steven Jones; sister, Linda Lisby and her husband of 28 years, Kenneth Barnes. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lewis and Dorothy Jones; and her sister, Carol Allen.
Visitation for Julie will be held at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Decatur, on Tuesday, February 11, 2014
from 2 pm to 5 pm. Online condolences can made

julie was a wonderful person. We had alot of good times! We sent almost everyday together. Im so sorry I missed her showing but I buried my father on Monday. You will be missed and I will think of you every time I pass your house

I am saddened by the passing of Julie. She was a dear friend and is part of my life history. I have many fond memories of her and she will always occupy a special corner of my heart. She had a heart of gold, but now has the soul of an angel. My greatest sympathy to her family.

Julie and I haven't seen each other since school, but we occasionally talked privately on FB. She was so kind hearted, and was always concerned about what I was going through. I will miss our talks and her kind and loving heart. What a blessing she was to me!
