Lawrence Buell Obituary

Lawrence Lee Buell, Jr. Passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2005 at Community East Hospital. Born September 26, 1960, Larry was the first born son to the Honorable Representative Lawrence Lee Buell and Mrs. Lawrence (Janis Joan) Buell of Indianapolis, IN. Larry graduated from Warren Central High School in 1978. He was a dispatcher for the city of Indianapolis and held many jobs in the specialized courier field. Larry enjoyed attending the Indy 500, "tinkering" with electronics and helping his father and his brother with their political campaigns. In addition to his mother and father, Larry leaves to celebrate his life his children Frederick "Erick" Lawrence Buell, Amanda Suzanne Buell, and Zachary Alexander Buell, all of Commisky, Indiana. He also leaves his step-daughter Jessica Olden and step- granddaughter Aria Olden of Seymour, Indiana. He leaves his brother David Dwight Buell; sister-in-law Lilli Lovett Buell; nephew Alexander David Buell and niece Caroline Lovett Buell, all of Camp Hill, PA. He leaves his sister Amy Elizabeth MacNeil; brother-in-law Neil MacNeil, and nephew Joseph Neil MacNeil, all currently residing in Belgrade, Serbia. Larry also leaves his fiancé, Michelle Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend, Larry brought a smile to all who knew him. He had a compassionate heart, a great sense of humor, a brilliant IQ and tremendous love for and pride in his family. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East Community Life Center, 10612 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at the same location with internment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9350 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN. Memorial contributions in Larry's name may be made to the charity of your choice. www.flannerbuchanan.com
