Jane Kleczynski Obituary
She was born Aug. 29, 1920, in New London, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Pianka) Pukas. She attended local schools and graduated from the former Chapman Technical High School. She met the love of her life, Raymond Kleczynski and married on Feb. 10, 1945, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, New London. Raymond passed away on April 5, 2016.
Jane was a member of the Polish American Veteran's Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Ladies Guild Club and was a lifelong communicant of the church. Jane and Raymond, were both honored on their 60th wedding anniversary and presented an Apostolic Blessing from the late Pope John Paul II.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by six sisters, Alice Dymnicki, Pauline Smiarowski, Bertha Giza, Theresa Olsen, Helen Baier and Josephine Zegarzewski.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at 10 a.m. Monday, July 23, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 63 Old Norwich Road, Quaker Hill, followed by at Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church or Mystic Health Care, 475 High St., Mystic, CT 06355.
The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London, has been entrusted with her care.

My sincerest condolences to your families,Jane and Ray were dear friends of my parents Stella and Steve. Mom and Jane were Ladies Guild friends at the church in Quaker Hill. I have fond memories of swimming in her pool at her home as a youngster. Jane and Ray were very generous with their time and love during my youth. I know Jane will be remembered. I pray for her and your families at this time. With love
