Dear Connie and David,

I was deeply saddened when Walt told me about John's death. You have my sincere sympathy and condolences and my prayers are with you. May you live each day as a gift of life as did John. He was an inspriation to me and each day I remember his distinctive smile. I pray his enthusiasm and spirit for life be remembered as an inspiration to our daily lives.

To the Foster family,

I still find it shocking to believe that such a healthy, compassionate, and wonderful man was taken from us so suddenly. I had the privelage of working under John's direction for two years at the Women's Humane Society. He had a passion for animals, just like I did. I will sadly miss our conversations in the break room along with his company during work. I am so greatful for everything he did for me. I never felt appreciated by the people I worked with at previous jobs, untill I worked at the Humane Society. The Society will not be the same. My prayers go out to all of you during this sad time. John will always hold a place in my heart;he will be missed. My condolences.

Dear Connie and David,

My sincerest and most heartfelt sympathy. John was a kind and wonderful person -- a man of the highest integrity and honesty. Animals and people loved and respected him for his soulfulness and dedication to making a difference for all creatures. He has earned a special place in heaven where he will wait to greet you and me and everyone else whose life he so lovingly touched. My prayers are with you and your family.
