JOSEPH M., SR. "JOE" suddenly April 19, 2011, age 55. An employee of the Phila. Navy Yard. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee O'Drain). Loving father of Jamie (Mike) McGrenehan, Joseph, Jr. (Kelly) and Jerry. Pop pop to Sean, Joey, Colin, Kathryn, Keira, Michael and Patricia. Devoted son of Mary Jane (nee Wixted). Dear brother of Eugene (Sandra) Robert (Dolores), Francis (Joni), Gerald (Pina), and the late Maureen Crowthers; also survived by his brother-in-law Gary Crowthers and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Tues. eve 6-9 P.M. and Wed. 9:15-10:15 A.M. at the BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. (So. of Grant Ave.) followed by his Funeral Mass 11:15 A.M. St. Matthew Church (upper church). Int. Resurrection Cem. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the FOP Survivor Fund, 1336 Spring Garden St., Phila., PA 19123.

May you be comforted by your fondest memories of Joe
I was so sorry to hear of your loss.
I met Joe and his charming wife Pat once, ( at their home for a wedding shower) they were very warm & funny.
Knowing Bob & Dolores and hearing those funny family stories, It is hard to find any comforting words.
May your faith sustain you, and may God wrap his arms around you and hold you close as you greive.

My deepest sympathy to all the survivors of Joe's family. I heard about your loss just yesterday at the Father Judge Alumni Association Meeting. I remember Joe well from our days in High School. May God bless you in the time ahead.

To the entire Rahill family. We are still in shock upon hearing of Joe's passing. We are so sorry for the loss of a great husband, father and grandfather. Ever since my son married into the family we have enjoyed many wonderful times with the Rahill's. Especially Christmas night with Patti and Joe the exceptional hosts. The births of our mutual grandchildren. Summers at the shore. Joe will be missed by his whole family and Mike and Bonnie McCool. Love to you all.
