KENNETH ROBERT, age 68, on August 11, 2014 of Dresher. Devoted husband of Gretchen Preston Chadwick. Loving father of Kenneth R. Jr. (Susan) Chadwick, Brian P. (Gitta) Chadwick, M. Ray (Christina) Branscome, Christopher P. (Lisa) Branscome, Geoffrey W. (Carolyn) Branscome. Loving grandfather of Grace, Catherine, Amanda, Julia, Marlena and Ray Branscome, Karlie, Kelton and Ellie Chadwick. Beloved brother of James T. Chadwick (Martha ) and Eleanor Rende. He was predeceased by his parents, Gerard and Evelyn Chadwick and his brother, Gerard.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, August 15, 2014 at the KIRK & NICE FUNERAL HOME, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 and again on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 10 A.M. till his Funeral Service at 11 A.M. Interment to follow at the George Washington Memorial Park.

Dear Gretchen, So very saddened and shocked at Ken's passing. We were at the shore when I read the obituary. We are so sorry. You had just moved and enjoying a new life. Was he sick? This must be overwhelming to you and the children. Please accept our most sincere sympathy to all of you. What a gentleman and special person Ken was. I will look up your new address in Dresher. Gretchen - I am not sure if you remember me, but I worked with Ken at Temple for awhile. I am very sorry for your loss. As you know, Ken was a true gentleman and enjoyed his family. He was a very friendly person who took our kidding very well. He will truly be missed by many.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Ken. I worked for him briefly at Temple and although I was only a temporary employee, Ken treated me like I was part of the family. He was a gracious and kind person. My deepest condolences.

My condolences to the family. Ken and I grew up together on St. Vincent Street and enjoyed many good times together playing basketball, touch football and baseball at Jardel Recreation Center.
